Many retailers that have websites, are planning their holiday free shipping strategy:

• A little over half of retailers that were surveyed said they were likely to have free shipping offers this holiday season.
• When asked which three promotions they planned to most heavily emphasize this holiday season, over half of the retailers indicated that they would have a free shipping offer with conditions, such as a minimum offer requirement, or on certain gift items, and about one fifth of them promised free shipping without any conditions at all.

Looks like ”free shipping” is the way to go when you are selling merchandise online! If you sell merchandise online, a free shipping offer might help you obtain a lot more business, during a time when people want to get more for their money, and they want to save money when they can!
